The nightmare of all the singles and the main concern of housewives around the world may soon become a distant memory.
The Chinese designer Jeffrey Leung has created, for now only conceptually, "Light Launder" a high-speed machine, capable of clean clothes in just 20 seconds without the use of water and detergents. The basic concept of this futuristic machine that is exploiting the use of TiO2 (Titanium Dioxide Photocatalyst) and UV-C and dirty clothes come out clean. Light Launder thanks to a tubular shape allows cleaning to 360 degrees. Also inside contains an infrared scanner that captures all the information needed to set the washing process in a completely automatic.
